Our awakening is just the start of a road that no one before us has traveled. We do not need another program, but an orientation in subjectivity.

A brilliant, nuanced and helpful integration

I truly enjoyed, appreciated, and benefited from The Tapestry of Being.  For those of us -- and there are many -- who have studied and engaged a variety of spiritual teachings, it provides a  very clear and  nuanced system for integration, understanding, and further awakening. To me it is  a brilliant system, that gives rise to further relaxation and insight into What Is/Reality/Being. (And there's plenty of unpacking of the challenge of  even "speaking about Reality" in the book!) Krishna's language is  inclusive and  generous, and truly honors the individual's unique path.  The subtitle is "Talks on Practical Mysticism", and indeed the book is filled with potent guidance, exercises, and meditations,  for making it one's own.   The ongoing defining, comparing, and contrasting of terms and insights from different spiritual traditions is very valuable, and adds to the power of this Tapestry.
I recommend it highly and hope it gets wide readership; I feel sure that it could be of great help to many people, as it's been to me.

A beautiful and practical confirmation of everyone’s spiritual path

Tapestry of Being is an elegant, evocative, and yet practical piece of spiritual weaving--- in many dimensions. Not only does Krishna demonstrate how the different spiritual/religious perspectives interrelate with one another. He weaves in exercises and recommendations for how any one of these perspectives can be deepened, as well as how they may manifest in our daily lives. He further subtly infuses several modalities (visual/auditory/sensual/intellectual) to offer to each reader several ways to connect with the various nodes of the mandala being described. And finally-- another beautiful thread throughout the book—He gently reminds us over and over again that, though we are all manifestations of the oneness, each of us is unique. What a truly spiritual book, if for no other reason than that it shows us how to deeply appreciate one another and ourselves regardless of the path we choose.

Insightful Synthesis

As someone who has studied a variety of spiritual paths, I've often found myself confused about how and whether they fit together. The Tapestry of Being provides a beautiful clear model which untangles this confusion, as it suggests how a variety of teachings blend and develop into one another in a way that makes perfect sense. Thank you, Krishna Gauci, for this insightful synthesis!

A Mandala for Spiritual Development

I was very pleasantly blown away by his book. I think Krishna has created a useful and valuable tool for those engaged in any spiritual path. His own path was shaped by involvement in Tibetan Buddhism, the Advaita teachings of Papaji, & his years as a teacher in the Waking Down/Trillium path. He begins with the idea of identity and relationship as the twin aspects of Being and creates a mandala of the different modes of engagement with the spiritual process. Using the polarities of consciousness, energetic presence, and embodiment, he identifies 6 modes: 1) Transcendental Divine Identity, 2) Energetic Presence Identity, 3) Embodied Human Identity, 4) Embodied Human Relationship, 5) Energetic Presence Relationship, 6) Transcendental Divine Relationship.
